This is an online course, which is broken down into three units.
Unit 1: Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training

Unit 2:  Planning to meet the needs of learners in education and training

Unit 3: Delivering education and training

Unit 4: Assessing learners in education and training

Unit 5: Using resources for education and training

Unit 6: Assessing occupational competence in the work environment

Unit 7: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding

Unit 8: Manage learning and development in groups

Each unit is broken down into sub-sections, for which the student must submit written assignments. On completing Unit 8, the Student is required to carry out 3 one hour live practical sessions. This involves them assessing a student in front of an examiner, either via Skype or in person, together with the need to submit other supporting material. You will be also required to log at least 30 teaching hours and have a supervisor sign it off.
