Welcome! I’m Rhian Dore, an experienced Education Specialist and the proud owner of Sunshine Training, Equipment, Accreditation & Startups. With over a decade of expertise in the hair, beauty, and aesthetics training industry, I am passionate about empowering individuals and organizations to achieve excellence.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET), a Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA), and a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA). In addition to my qualifications, I am a fully qualified hairdresser and beautician, bringing comprehensive knowledge and hands-on expertise to every aspect of my work.
My Journey
My journey began at the age of 14 when I completed my NVQ Level 1 in Hairdressing while working as a Saturday girl in a local salon. This experience sparked a deep passion for the industry and inspired me to pursue further qualifications, including an NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy, Levels 2 and 3 in Hairdressing, and an Advanced Level 3 Hairdressing apprenticeship.
In 2013, I earned my Level 4 Teaching Qualification and Assessor’s Award and started my career as a lecturer and assessor at my local college. While I loved working with learners, I felt driven to create something more impactful. In 2015, I launched Sunshine Training, which has since grown into a successful academy with over 40 educators and a dedicated management team.
