This is an online course, which is broken down into seven units.
Unit 1: Teaching, Learning and Assessment in Education and Training

Unit 2:  Developing Teaching, Learning and Assessment in
Education and Training

Unit 3: Theories, Principles and Models in Education and Training

Unit 4: Wider professional practice and development in education and training

Unit 5: Developing, using and organising resources in a specialist area

Unit 6: Inclusive practice

Unit 7: Teaching in a Specialist Area

Each unit is broken down into sub-sections, for which the student must submit written assignments. On completing Unit 7, the Student is required to carry out 8 one hour live practical sessions. This involves them assessing a student in front of an examiner, either via Skype or in person, together with the need to submit other supporting material. You will be also required to log at least 100 teaching hours and have a supervisor sign it off.
